Energy Efficient Lighting
LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) have revolutionised energy-efficient lighting. LED bulbs produce light differently from traditional incandescent bulbs. While old-fashioned incandescent bulbs passed electricity through a filament, LEDs produce light through the use of a semi-conductor that emits light energy when an electrical current is passed through it.
